OP hero with all the usual tropes but it was surprising too. Things did not go the way i thought it would go. And it had a good ending where they can have a 2nd season if they choose to. And i hope they do because I felt sad when it finished.
It was good fun overall.

I personally don't like animes with young-aged characters and tend to skip them, but this one was marginal in this sense I had decided to give it a go. Frankly, it was a good watch and I managed to finish it in one sitting. The story is not really intense, but I would say it is solid. Though, on episode 6 I got a feeling something was skipped as it switched from slowly-paced school life to absolutely random encounter (IMO). Though, nonetheless it was executed well and had explained further perception of MC in this new world.
TL;DR It's not a polished gem, but it is solid enough to deserve a watch.

I went in fully expecting to hate it since I chose the anime at random, and the ratings here didn't look great, but I was pleasantly surprised.
I feel like the amount of episodes could easily have been doubled. I couldn't stop watching.
The cover art used on this site makes it look too cheerful, it is not XD
You won't be able to guess the ending. Surprised me at least.

Story is actually good and deep. Unfortunately it is a bit short and didn't go too far on the storyline. Hopefully season 2 will be coming soon.

With the ever increasing number of iskeai anime, this one was enjoyable as it follows an OP MC trying to keep his powers in check to live a peaceful life. This started a bit rough as there are a few annoying characters, but transitions from that and the MC goes on a lot of adventures. The characters, pacing, adventures and fantasy elements were good. This also ended in a way that it could end here or continue with another season. Overall, this wasn't a bad watch.

Pleasantly surprised. It stands out from typical isekai. The MC is actually cool, unlike many others in the genre. The portrayal of Onmyouji is captivating. Uninteresting side-characters turned out to be quite engaging. The 13-episode season has numerous epic moments, which is rare compared to other shows with barely any.
The MC effectively showcases his abilities in this 1st season, unlike other series where the protagonist only uses weak powers. It is evident that the MC still has plenty of tricks up his sleeve for future seasons. The side characters become even more likable as the story progresses.

Quite the crossover of two COMPLETELY different types of concepts!
I was pleasantly surprised at how this one panned out. Dubbed useless and incompetent, the MC who reincarnates into his new station in life, is looked down on, and treated like trash. Little does everyone know, that he "was" and is the worlds strongest!
The way he plays out his second life is simply a pleasure to watch. An OP MC done pretty well.
The setting is good, the animation is good, and the concept is executed quite well.
The ending, well, lets just say you won't see it coming at all.
Would be nice if we got a second season though!

This is an interesting approach to an isekai. A lot of adversity for the MC, a lot of growth, and general knowledge of what he should and should not do. The push towards the end didn't feel forced, and I'm pleasantly surprised how this wrapped up. There are definitively an interesting approach to the "end game" of this series, where the MC becomes even more pivotal to what is happening.
This is a series that definitely needs a second season to close things out, as they did fairly well with the first season. We'll see what they do!
Worth the watch, just be prepared for a high point at the very end of the series.

First of all: Ahhh, it's so good to hear Angela in opening, the best one since years!
This is very good anime, one of the best I watched recently. OP character as Onmyouji, Isekai, adventure, school life, harem. Perfect for me. I love when things are progressing easily without some final fight where MC nearly dies but comes back to win with power of love and friendship. Too many of such. It's not really any deep or plot is not awesome, just the characters and action make up for everything I desire. Simple is the best. I'm looking forward for second season, probably focusing on adventures.
PS. 12 & 13 eps are the cherry on the top of cake!

Going to be a very strong recommendation for OP character & Isekai fan. The formula is similar on some, but execution is top notch.
You got such a great cast of side characters + MC, the Onmyouji power is unique as you can see ability variation with some tangible basis, and the main idea about covering for other character is nice (since there's always no point in plots about OP character defending himself).
Also near the end, it has a very strong plot point, much more nuanced than a lot of series in its tier. I'm used to trash-isekai having the main plot device in the beginning and nothing after is anything more interesting, but this one delivers.
